Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about MultiMoxx Snap security, exports, and rendering.
Is MultiMoxx Snap really completely free?
Yes, 100%. MultiMoxx Snap provides free device mockups, full-page screenshots, clean-up features, and exports without watermarks, trial timers, or hidden subscription gates.
Do my captures or screenshots ever get uploaded to your servers?
Never. Everything runs client-side strictly inside your browser environment. Your captured data stays in local memory on your physical machine unless you explicitly choose to export it to MultiMoxx Studio.
How does MultiMoxx Snap handle mobile layouts accurately?
Unlike tools that scale down desktop viewports, MultiMoxx Snap sets the native device emulation dimensions and media query triggers before executing the capture, triggering genuine responsive stylesheets.
Can I capture pages that require a login or password?
Yes! Because the extension works inside your active browser session, anything you are logged into—client staging portals, GitHub, Jira, Shopify admins—can be captured immediately.
What cookie banners and elements are automatically removed?
Our clean-up rules recognize major CMPs (OneTrust, Cookiebot, Klaro, Termly), Intercom/Zendesk/HubSpot chat widgets, WordPress admin bars, fixed scroll-to-top buttons, and modal overlays.
Can I disable automatic cleanup if I need the exact unedited page?
Absolutely. There is a prominent toggle switch in the capture panel: flip it off and the snapshot will capture the exact DOM including any visible notices or overlays.
What device frames are included?
Modern high-resolution phones (iPhone and Android flagships), tablets (iPad Pro portrait & landscape), laptops (MacBook Pro styling), as well as Frameless Full-Page and Visible Viewport formats.
What is a continuous-page PDF?
Standard browser print commands slice websites arbitrarily across page 1, 2, and 3, bisecting images and headlines awkwardly. A continuous PDF creates a single unbroken canvas that retains the natural design rhythm.
What is the difference between Snap and MultiMoxx Studio?
MultiMoxx Snap is the fast, localized browser extension for single mockups and quick asset downloads. MultiMoxx Studio is our comprehensive design suite for multi-device 3D layouts, scroll videos, carousels, and client presentation decks.
Do I need to give permissions to read all my browser data?
No. MultiMoxx Snap uses the strictly scoped activeTab permission, which means it only interacts with the specific tab when you deliberately click the extension icon.
